I think this story is very inspiring. Everyone was put on this earth for a reason. Although people may tell you you can't do something if it is your dream I say do it!! I am really glad this lady's dream came true!

i agree with what this article said about dreams in that it's good to have them but we have to know that they might change. We can't be "blinded by our passion" and forget that there are other options too. i'm glad these two people could realize that their origional dreams were what they really wanted and instead achieved jobs they wil enjoy.

We have to pursue the realistic dreams, and recognize the dreams that need to stay dreams.

But I don't think people should give up easily on things, especially when it comes to jobs or school. A lot of things are possible with hard work and dedication, and we have the capability to accomplish the impossible if we put our mind to it.

I think everyone should have dreams, but they should have a backup plan if something doesn't go right. Like the article said, in this economy, your "perfect" job may not be available. Sometimes, you may have to veer off your path for a period of time before you get an opportunity to pursue your dream.

Yes. The only way to ever achieve some lofty goal is through patience, which is what I think you're talking about.

I guess that there are no limits to what you can research. I find it interesting that that guy was doing something like this.

Too true, but often it's difficult to understand what dreams are realistic and what dreams should stay dreams, as Lindsay said.
